When Deborah contacted me this summer to do her maternity photos I knew just how excited she was. I have been able to work with this family a couple times and let me just tell you they are perfect. I leave every session with my cheeks hurting because they are just so outgoing and I can't stop smiling when I am around them. When I asked their other daughter how excited she was that she was going to be a big sister, her face lit up with such joy. Those are the moments I love to capture.
Eve was such an angel during her session. She was so laid back and I was able to capture a good variety of her with little fuss. She had lots of cute little smiles but it always happened when I put the camera down. Mom had wanted Pinks, and yellows because those were colors of her nursery. I love when I get to create little sets for the babies with the visions I have in my head. Eve had such perfect skin for a newborn and she was a spitting image of her big sister.
I understand newborn photography is an investment but it is a investment that is so worth it! These memories go by so fast and you won't get them back but you will be able to look at the wonderful photos and cherish them for years to come. A investment to be able to hand down to them when they get older. I wish my parents took more pictures of me during my childhood. I just have what memories there are in my head. I HIGHLY recommend getting photographs of the baby with your family. These only take a couple minutes to take and you deserve to be in their first photos. I also love seeing reactions when parents come in for their ordering appointment. I can't wait to see there portraits blown up on on beautiful acrylic or in a album. Deborah was so excited when she came in for her reveal wall and she just couldn't decide and she wanted them all so she went with the full digital collection and 2 folio mats. I know how she felt with the deciding because believe me I run into the same problems when doing my own families photos.
